REMIX TAPE was a really fun project that brought me back to making music again. I used to make music a long time ago, and then for a long time I didn’t.

One of the hardest parts of being a music producer is FINISHING songs. Lots of producers can ‘make beats’ whether it be just 8, 16 or 32 bar loops, or partially finished song ideas.

Remixes are a great way to develop a habit of finishing songs. Since the structure of the original song is already laid out in front of you, it becomes easier to focus on creativity because you can see how much song-time you have to fill to complete the work.
